Yes. The USO of Metropolitan New York can receive in-kind donations of goods and services from businesses and manufacturers for use in its facilities, at events, and in care packages. Due to heightened security, the Department of Defense does not allow items donated by individuals to be included in USO care packages. The USO does not have names or addresses of individuals serving overseas. The USO of Metropolitan New York sends its own unique brand of care package – the USO Big Apple Pack – to units in the field and at departure locations. Find out more about the Big Apple Pack program.
